After a ten-year fight for survival, which featured performance at full stretch, the Ukrainian metallurgical industry managed to take the path of steady modernization and construction of new production capacities. During the last five years, there was done a lot to upgrade the blast furnace and steelmaking production. Now has come the turn to upgrade the rolling mill, since its capacities are considerably limited due to the worn-out state and obsolescence. The conference reports will present the most progressive directions in the development of technologies and equipment for mastering new types of rolling mills and enhancing product quality.

Ukrainian research engineers, equipment producers, representatives of the leading world companies and a wide circle of specialists engaged in metallurgical production, scientific and design organizations are invited to speak, give a report, present equipment and take part in the discussions of the conference.
